Re: Emulate Rpi with QEMU fails

In the meantime I overcome this issue. I found a Github repo documenting a different command for starting QEMU: qemu-system-arm -serial stdio -M versatilepb -cpu arm1176 -m 256 -drive "file=DietPi_RPi-ARMv6-Buster.img,if=none,index=0,media=disk,format=raw,id=disk0" -device "virtio-blk...

Emulate Rpi with QEMU fails

Hi, I'm trying to emulate Rpi with QEMU. I found this arcticle in Raspberry Pi Geek documenting the steps including persistent storage on host. However when starting the emulation with command qemu-system-arm -M versatilepb -cpu arm1176 -m 256 -serial stdio -hda DietPi_RPi-ARMv6-Buster.img -net &quo...

Configure systemd-timer for DietPi-WiFi-Monitor

Hello, i.m.o. it would make sense to configure a systemd-timer for DietPi-WiFi-Monitor. This would include this regular task in output of systemctl list-timers ; the current output lists this: root@pc9-fhem:~# systemctl list-timers -all NEXT LEFT LAST PASSED UNIT ACTIVATES Mon 2019-06-10 15:57:58 CE...

Re: [Solved] No Wifi reconnect after AP disabled

Hello! I have enabled dietpi-wifi-monitor. This bash script is checking for a working connection to the router, and if this fails triggers ifdown $ADAPTER sleep 1 ifup $ADAPTER However this is not working with my Raspi. There's no general issue with Wifi connection of my Raspi using this device: roo...

[Solved] No swap in DietPi v6.24.1

Hi, I have check swap in DietPi v6.24.1 but there's none: root@pc5-raspi:~# free -m total used free shared buff/cache available Mem: 226 81 36 9 108 86 Swap: 0 0 0 However I used dietpi-config and dietpi-drive_manager respectively and configured swap. After rebooting Raspi there's no swap memory. Th...

Re: OverlayFS to protect SD card from write access

I'm not a developer and can hardly contribute to this task.
However searching the internet returns many setup guides, and this one looks interesting.

Re: No Wifi reconnect after AP disabled

You can also enable DietPi-WiFi-Monitor via dietpi-config which will check WiFi connection every 10 seconds and in case try to reconnect. But since you did some custom network setup, be careful before hitting any "Apply" within dietpi-config since it overwrites /etc/network/interfaces . W...
