Hi I currenlty have a 1TB SATA SSD thats in my enclosure set as my dietpi_userdata location. I am running out of space due to an every increasing music library. Whats the easiest way to migrate over to a new 2TB drive all the data and it not loose all its connections? I wont be able to connect the new drive initially via SATA only via a USB 3 caddy. If I format new drive as ext4 then rsysnc all data across to it whilst its connected via USB then swap drive over and set it as my user_data drive will that just work? I dont want to have to go through rescanning all my media again. They all point to it via its mount under /mnt/dietpi/userdata. Or is there an easier way in Dietpit to acheive the same thing?
Well you can connect the new HDD and relocate dietpi user data via drive manager. This should move all files over and set the new mount point for dietpi user data pointing to new drive.
