Re: The new Raspberry Pi 4

As said, I don't want to break any testing with this, as IMO x64 should become default for SBCs quickly as well, and its somehow a mess that already RPi2 PBC 1.2 actually has an ARMv8 (x64) capable CPU but Raspbian is compiled for ARMv6 (armv6hf). So playing with the new x64 kernel totally makes sen...

Re: Using UART

jhorv Sorry for missing reply. Instead of making the tty world-writeable, please add the nodered user to the tty group: usermod -aG tty nodered Instead of only disabling Bluetooth, might might be required to switch Bluetooth serial device usage by adding dtoverlay=miniuart-bt to /DietPi/config.txt ...

Re: WireGuard DNS after latest upgrade

Niwre Indeed I didn't manage to add it to v6.26. However another report on GitHub brought back my attention: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/issues/3175 So its two things: Delay WireGuard service start to after DietPi-Boot, so network has fully setup, and either enhance our network info script t...

Re: Resolution switch to 4k crashes

discmeister AFAIK the "recommends" are just added to all 60Hz resulutions sinze 60Hz is native for most monitors. However indeed it is misleading, and 1234x345 like menu entries would be nice. Yeah in most cases we just show an often used share of possible resulutions, if there'd be a nice way to a...

Re: Netdata, on fresh install, not working.. ( RockPro64)

@bin4ry
Did you try it with v6.26 final? If it does not work, could you provide some error logs, e.g. journalctl -u netdata or not sure about log files in /var/log/netdata?

Re: How to add an external USB-Drive to Nextcloud?

Thor Sorry for the missing reply. I'll add an automated pre-creation and chowning of the target dir and try if current Nextcloud installs succeed with this as expected: mkdir -p $datadir chown -R www-data:www-data $datadir www-data is btw the correct user. Ah lol, this is already done: https://gith...

Re: Nordvpn Connection failed/timeout

sheikhmujib Many thanks for your report. Hmm the TLS handshake failed, not sure if this is a temporary NordVPN server issue or about the certs/key in the ovpn file. To be sure, could you paste the content of the ovpn file from the systemctl output? But erase your username/mail+password of course ;)!

Re: Problem with audio jack and amiberry

Hmm that is strange, especially since we did not touch the install on Stretch, while on Buster it should not have worked before.
Just to be sure: echo $G_DISTRO_NAME

Re: Spammer active on forum?

Some still slipping through, especially during Stop Forum Spam server downtimes, which occur somehow quite often (check logs). I think we indeed need block registers, in that case. Info should be announced/sticky in forum, also would be good to know how the registration page looks like if it is bloc...
