Pi-hole and Linux dash

Post by beerenheini »

Hi community! I'm having trouble running any monitoring tools in parallel to a pi-hole installation. As soon as I install any monitoring web interface, like Linux dash, with the built-in scripts the web interface of my pi-hole installation isn't accessible anymore. I have to remove the monitoring tool and reconfigure pi-hole to get it running again. I suspect this is due to several web servers running in parallel. The pi-hole installation is running fine, btw.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance, guys!

Okay, it seems it is working if one installs pi-hole with "dietpi-software" and not by the finial method, everything works as it should. Why is that?anyhow - consider this thread solved.

PiHole overwrites the lighttpd.conf. When install through dietpi-software, we prevent this, allowing full use of the webserver.
