Re: Apache2 Trouble on NanoPi Neo Plus Dietpi v6.1

Actually it should be possible to install both. This was the case during many of my testing installations. But I will try/investigate again, especially with Lighttpd. As long as I am not at home for testing: Could you paste the contents of: - /etc/php/7.0/mods-available/apcu.ini - /etc/php/7.0/mods-...

Re: SyncThing - GUI wont work with User Data Location set my

Just found a German topic about that on Nextcloud forum: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/nextcloud-zusammen-mit-ftp-samba-nutzen/12758/9 Looks quite hacky to do manual rescanning data folder by Nextcloud after editing via samba. But the permissions were indeed solved via adding www-data to root group i...

Re: SyncThing - GUI wont work with User Data Location set my

Hmm and if e.g. ownCloud/Nextcloud datadir is then set to samba drive as well, maybe it is possible to add www-data to dietpi group and change permissions to 770? Or is this not possible as well? I will check, how samba + Nextcloud is solved usually. But hmm actually this doubles somehow the sync/sh...

Re: Nextcloud installation never worked

We need more info to help. - You are on DietPi v6.1? On which device? - Which webserver stack are you using? - Was this a fresh installation of DietPi and Nextcloud? - Check/provide your webserver, mysql and in case Nextcloud log for error messages. I agree, the Nextcloud documentation is not too we...

Re: Mysql not starting after update to v159

@gaggio: MySQL logs can be also found within journalctl -r best directly after service restart attempt. Can you try to remove/backup the /etc/mysql/conf.d/99-dietpi-4byte.cnf and restart mysql? If it works, you also have to remove the 4byte setting from Nextcloud config.php. Actually this settings s...

Re: dietpi-letsencrypt (certbot) error

Jep this installs the newest non package version directly from certbot sources that fixed the webserver authentication method. However we will stay with Debian package versions and switch authentication method as mentioned above. We will automatically apply that fix on DietPi v6.2 update the next fe...

Re: Installation of PHP query

php7.0 is just a dummy package that has php-common one PHP connector as dependency: https://packages.debian.org/stretch/php7.0
As for LLAP stack we know that we need php-fpm, thus choose it directly.

Re: Installing REDIS

I am personally against this as default install method. Of course we could install all PHP modules from PECL and would theoretically get newer version for all of them. But: - It would need the whole php-dev package with overhead to be installed. - I am not sure, if the configuration stuff is done th...

Re: Configure Strict Transport Security

Hmm what you did, should have been done automatically by Nextcloud installation script actually. But okay if it now works for you. Note that you can adjust the data directory prior to automated installation by edit in /DietPi/dietpi.txt. Moving it afterwards is not supported and can cause errors, if...

Did you manually move your data directory?
