Re: XU4 Cloudshell drive names

Hi John,

I can't remember for v159, however, in the current version you can use the cloudshell UI to set storage locations:

Re: myMPD HELP PLEASE

However, if I were Dietpi dev I would consider removing it from the software list. myMPD does not live up to the ease of use and robustness that 'should be' and IS to a lot of people as Dietpi's trademark and brand image. Not only mympd but any software that is not robust and easy to use reflects b...

Re: fresh install oDroid C1

Hi
/bin/bash: /var/tmp/dietpi/logs/dietpi-ramdisk.log: Read-only file system
This indicates a filesystem issue, most likely due to insufficient PSU and/or SD card.

For stability, please ensure you are using a 5V/2A official PSU (Odroid or RPi), and a well branded SD card (eg: Sandisk).

Re: Read/Write access denied with mounted drives?

Im all for having the latest version of any software (even test builds), but this is one I'd rather go back to an older version until its fixed....

Re: Read/Write access denied with mounted drives?

Hi,

I don't believe Samba supports setting file/folder permissions, as the permissions used are set during the mount, as defined by the server:

Re: Some advices for Dietpi developing

Many thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it. 1. Do not force auto-updating Only the initial 1st run of the device is a forced update. This is to ensure you are running the latest version (with patches/fixes). After which, dietpi-update is optional. 2. Offer the history image download This...

Re: (RESOLVED) No video out (or boot fails) on Pine A64

HDMI resolution not being applied in DietPi-Config will be fixed in v6.15 update.

Please download the latest script to resolve now:

Code: Select all

Re: (RESOLVED) No video out (or boot fails) on Pine A64

Farther,, X can be made to work, edit /boot/uEnv.txt, remove comment from # disp_screen0 = lcd or hdmi And now I see I am losing my mind, the comment is restored after a reboot, but X still works Hi, You'll need to edit the file on the DietPi RAMdisk location: /DietPi/uEnv.txt Changes made there, w...
