Regular Users do not have MotD or dietpi- commands

  • Distro version | bookworm 0
  • Kernel version | Linux PiHole 6.1.21-v8+ #1642 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 3 17:24:16 BST 2023 aarch64 GNU/Linux
  • Architecture | arm64
  • SBC model | RPi 3 Model B+ (aarch64)

For some reason when I log into my newly created user account on my new DietPi install I do not have the MotD or the dietpi- commands. Can I fix this, or do I need to re-create the user account?

The root and the dietpi users both have these set up

Deleted the account and re-created using this guide https://devconnected.com/how-to-add-and-delete-users-on-debian-10-buster/

All good now.
