No sound thru HDMI on PC

I have a 1050ti video card in my PC running the latest stable dietpi. It's connected to my TV via HDMI. I have no audio. Not on steam, not on YouTube videos.... nothing. Except when I do a sound test. "speaker-test -c2" works. I can hear the sound from both the left and right as I should. It's devic...

I didn't go the reverse proxy route, but I saw that a lot of people had success with it. As for the download and install the *.deb route for updating, that appears to be exactly what "dietpi-software reinstall 41" does.... at least by my understanding of it. Either way, it worked extremely smoothly ...
