Netdata on VMware

Post by dredhorse »

Hi,

just found DietPi, so pardon any stupid questions.

I'm trying to install NetData via DietPi in a VM on VMware.

dietpi-software list | grep disabled shows

netdata: real-time performance monitoring | +nodejs disabled for hw_arch | http://dietpi.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f ... t=60#p1611

Any specific reason this is disabled on the hw_arch which is x86 I would guess?

Any way to make it work?

Also as a side question: I noticed that xserver is disabled, any reason for that, as there is a gui in VMware available?

And another question: are the open-vm-tools available in DietPi?

thanks in advance

Don
