Trying to build a u-boot stock debian sd card

Post by WarHawk »

Uggh...dying here

I have tried this
https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/OrangePi_Build

I am trying the "jessie" install method...but it keeps dying on me

then I find there are dtbs for all the orange pi variants (and tons more) on the debian stretch "network install iso"
but it has to boot with u-boot

https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/cu ... etinst.iso

I've even tried a chroot and build an armhf build of debian...but still can't seem to get it to work..anyone else trying to get a stock debian u-boot .img built?

Just found this though...
http://linux-sunxi.org/SD_card_based_installer
http://linux-sunxi.org/Mainline_Debian_ ... tstrapping
and
https://github.com/ssvb/sunxi-bootsetup ... -prototype
