Syncthing update?

Post by SanPe »

Hi,

Since I reinstalled syncthing following a sdcard replacement, I cannot update it. I've got a permission error message:

Is it normal? How can I update syncthing?

I'm running dietpi on a RPi 2.

Thanks a lot!

I've done it as follows:
error-syncthing.JPG
+ restart syncthing services (restart over web interface)

then:
error-syncthing2.JPG

Nice, yep, upgrading binary using root user would bypass any permissions issues. :)

Pfff...

This distribution is the best. Never saw an issue handled that quickly.

Thanks a lot.
