Does my device support HW GPU acceleration?:
Not all devices support HW GPU acceleration with Chromium.
  • RPi 2+ supports native OpenGL and will be configured during installation.
  • Odroid's support OpenGLES and will be configured during installation.
  • Other devices will most likely be limited to software rendering.

Where can I check the status of HW GPU acceleration?
Once Chromium is running, simply go to the following address:
  • chrome://gpu

DietPi has pre-configured SickRage to automatically download torrents with BitTorrent Transmission. If you did not install Transmission, or, wish to setup SickRage to use a different BitTorrent server, please do the following:
To use this feature, you will need a supported BitTorrent server installed. All of the BitTorrent servers available in DietPi-Software are supported by SickRage.
  • Click the Settings "cog" button (the top right hand corner of the screen)
  • Select Search settings
  • Select and Torrent search tab.
  • Make sure the entry enable torrent search providers is enabled (ticked)

Recommended: Protect your privacy with a VPN:
Although we enable forced encryption on all our BitTorrent clients, if you wish to ensure complete privacy and peice of mind for all your downloaded content, using a VPN is critical.
