Hello Everyone, my first post.
I have a 10Zig thinclient, dual core intel atom, 1.33ghz, 2ghz mem, 4gb flash drive. I am trying to install DietPi on to it and run into problems. I get write block 7730 error, no space left on device. What size flash do I need to install DietPi.
Has anyone any ideas what the problem is and how to get over it.
Thanks

Re: Having problems installing
Hi,
many thanks for your report. Usually 2GB of disk space should be fine to flash a DietPi image.
Maybe an option for you, would be to install a Debian Mini system first and convert it into a DietPi system later on

Re: Having problems installing
Thanks I am trying to install this. The pc I am using has two soldered in flash drives of 2gb that with some systems gives a max flash of 2gb. Could this cause a problem.
Re: Having problems installing
could be. Probably each drive is seen individually.

Would a max size of 2gb be a problem to DietPi. Any way round it if it is.

Re: Having problems installing
I moved to a Dell Optiplex PC dual core, 2gbish mem, 2ghz ish, with 120gb hdd and got a similar result: Write block245576 error, no space left on device.
Am I using the wrong image? I am using DietPi_NativePC-BIOS-x86_64-Buster_installer.7z.
Any chance of a link to correct iso.
Thanks

Re: Having problems installing
Getting a bit lost here.
I think DietPi is not going to install to the 10ZIG thin client because of its internal flash drive make up. I need a very small OS for its small flash, it doesn't have a HDD. DietPi is quite large so will give this one up.
But thanks for the help so far, I may be back for other applications.
All the best

Re: Having problems installing
you lost me somehow. I thought you are going to flash DietPi on a 120GB HDD now?
Anyway, DietPi is one of the smallest and lightweight Debian based system you will find.
