v131 no DHCP via Wi-Fi (Odroid C2)

Post by djjerdog »

After updating to v131 Odroid C2 no longer obtains an IP via DHCP, as a work around I added the following to /etc/network/interfaces

Code: Select all

post-up dhclient wlan1
Which it then does successfully obtain an IP.

Any ideas what might have changed in v131 to cause this?

Hi,

Possibly due to removal of ifmetric: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/515. Was preventing Static IP WiFi from functioning.
Ifmetric was setup to allow WiFi fallback when eth was dropped: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issue ... -247852763

Questions:
  • Is both eth0 and wlan0/1 auto up enabled on your system? Please upload /etc/network/interfaces file (remove any wifi keys).
  • Did you use DietPi-Config to enable and configure the WiFi adapter?
