Re: dietpi-nordvpn "killswitch" feature ?

Side note: SSH support has been added to the killswitch with DietPi v7.3. You need to hit "Apply" once again to install the new rules. About the Nordlynx connection issues: If really a reboot is required and completely killing and de-configuring + re-configuring the VPN connection does not...

Re: Sftp server

If you don't require the last bit of transfer speed, and especially if you want to transfer data remotely outside of your LAN, I agree that SFTP is the better option and, with OpenSSH, it will just work. You can already access it nearly the same way as you would currently with FTP, just by replacing...

Re: Can't SSH after enabling dietpi-vpn killswitch

I added it now like that: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/commit/cbad2b84702c0a18c68eb5b5da591dee92988080 As explained in the commit text, the OUTPUT rules limit possible SSH connections to LAN and VPN, so the additional filters, respectively adding the rule for each LAN IP range doesn't make a d...

Re: How to run kiosk system

Not a video, but the official documentation is a good start: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/display/README.md As by default FKMS is disabled, the "Legacy Graphics Mode" section is correct. dietpi-config has an "RPi Touchscreen" resolution in the list, which ma...

Re: Support for Intel Atom 525

Okay those temperatures all do not seem to be the real CPU temperature. Not sure what those 2/3 temps refer to, as I guess ambient temperature is way above 15/16 degree Celsius? :) It more looks like static values that never change, like there was no sensor. Can you also check: ls -l /sys/devices/vi...

Re: Random diet-Pi crashes -> reboot -> not coming back

Not persistently, but to debug the issue. By default there is nothing very important done via Cron, aside of the regular RAMlog clearing, in case it fills very quickly, so it's not a big issue when it is disabled temporarily, especially when the system is unstable anyway.
