Torrents not downloading

I have tried almost everything i think and just can’t get it to work. Im completely new to DietPi and am trying to set up qBittorrent (or deluge i dont really care as long as it works). When installing it everything seems to work fine. No errors and webui works fine. But no torrents are downloading. It says no seeders/peers even though there is and i just cant get it to work. I tried downloading qBittorrent on my main PC and it worked just fine on the same wifi. Any idea what is going on?

I actually am so lost. I can’t figure out where the error is and why it happens.

Not sure if I am helpful as I have not done it myself but…

Did you do the install qBittorrent with the dietpi-software and follow the install instructions here https://dietpi.com/docs/software/bittorrent/#qbittorrent-access-downloads
Specifically it says that you have to install also one of the file servers.

Seems to be more of a thing to help downloading them on my side rather than a needed software as there is no way I can configure it in the qbittorrent or deluge client…

I finally fixed it after days!
For anyone having the same problem here’s what I did:

In qBittorrent settings → Advanced tab, I had to play around with these two drop-downs:

• ⁠Network interface (was ‘any interface’, had to change to my actual one)
• ⁠Optional IP address to bind to (was ‘all addresses’, had to change to all ipv4).
