Resize partitions

Hello everybody
another silly question for a problem I can’t solve
how to do I resize partitions?

I have a ext4 of around 3TB and a NTFS partition of around 1 TB

/dev/sda2: UUID=“d4a1319e-39f9-4629-96b7-1fe442c909ce” TYPE=“ext4” PARTUUID=“6a138620-ac3e-4f5c-972b-6979042301da”
/dev/sda3: LABEL=“NTFS EXT” UUID=“2838B1E338B1B064” TYPE=“ntfs” PARTUUID=“e5fb99cf-078a-4a4f-bbe8-beb91fe4a9db”

how do I resize to ext4 1,5TB and NTFS 2.5TB?

many thanks for your question. Easiest one would be to use a tool like GParted https://gparted.org/

Connect your drive to a computer, boot into GParted and resize your drive.

I assume I cannot do it from the Raspberry, correct?

Asking because I’ve formatted one partition with drive-manager and tried to resize using disk utility on MacOS Big Sur but I’m getting an error saying that partitions can’t be resized

If possible go with a GParted Live USB stick and you will have latest version of GParted running

There is as well a Debian apt package available but this was not updated for more than 2 years. See note on GParted download web site https://gparted.org/download.php

Next to this you would need to have a (remote) desktop environment running
