Raspberry Pi Touchscreen black screen after update

G_DIETPI_VERSION_RC=2

Distro:
Bookworm

Kernel:
Linux Kiosk 6.12.20+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.12.20-1+rpt1~bpo12+1 (2025-03-19) aarch64 GNU/Linux

Architecture:
arm64

SBC model:
RPi3

Power:
Offical Pi

SD:
SanDisk ultra

Additional Information (if applicable)

Tried update and fresh install
Tried a fresh installation of DietPi. Still same issue.

Steps to reproduce

Updated to latest DeitPi version

Expected behaviour

Display should show chromium.

Actual behaviour

Display shows nothing.

Extra details

I installed raspberry pi os and the screen the worked so I know the screen is not broken.
I have tried the step in Boots to black screen with Official Touchscreen Display but still no joy

I have reverted back to https://dietpi.com/downloads/images/DietPi_RPi-ARMv8-Bullseye.img.xz for now which fixes the issue.

Can you please try the following:

sudo /boot/dietpi/func/dietpi-set_hardware rpi-opengl vc4-kms-v3d
G_SUDO G_CONFIG_INJECT 'display_auto_detect=' 'display_auto_detect=1' /boot/config.txt
sudo reboot

You should then get output, and you can rotate the screen via dietpi-display. To rotate touch input accordingly, check out: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/accessories/display.html#rotate-touch-input
