There are some statistics for DietPi vs plain PRI OS
In general, DietPi on Raspberry Pi SBC is nothing else than a RPi OS with reduced amount of packages installed and some bash automation scripting on top. Like a diet RPi OS.
At least from user experience point of view, DietPi has quite some automation features, allowing software installation end-to-end without manual installation steps needed. Means, PiHole can be installed with a single command
