Just wondering if Cinnamon could be “optimized” for DietPi?
Cinnamon Desktop Environment works fine on Pi4 usibg raspian lite base, but would prefer to run it on DietPi.

Thank you. Got it up and running though I did have to install a few missing files to get Nemo and printing running properly.
Now to figure out why synaptic will not run. It just locks up when I try to runit from the menu,

It could be an option to call the synaptic program via commandline in a terminal window to get start problem information in the terminal window.
