Hi there!

I’ve installed Aria2 in a RP4.

I’ve written the secret token but I get the error: Authentication failed while connecting to Aria2 RPC server.

What should I do to get it working?

Hi,

basically you would need to enter secret token as it is stored inside /mnt/dietpi_userdata/aria2/aria2.conf

cat /mnt/dietpi_userdata/aria2/aria2.conf | grep rpc-secret

can you check how it behave after you closed your browser? There are reports on Aria2 GitHib not being able to store the rpc-secret

This is not my thread, but I noticed that after closing my browser and changing the values in /mnt/dietpi_userdata/aria2/aria2.conf the password is not supported …I have to log in with my password in settings/connections settings/Enter the secret token (optional): - I have just tested several times, always the same - nothing too serious, just to point out…
