Wireguard & pihole - ongoing problems

Hi,

Thanks for helping with this.
dmesg retuned about a million lines all similar to
[ 5459.661445] [UFW BLOCK] IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=01:00:5e:00:00:01:18:f1:45:aa:da:88:08:00 SRC=192.168.20.1 DST=224.0.0.1 LEN=36 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=1 ID=0 DF PROTO=2

Do you have the ufw firewall installed?

yes

also;
apt update && apt full-upgrade returned

Please disable it and see if this solves the VPN issues. I don’t see the WireGuard IP involved in this one line but for to forwarding there are quite many adapters involved, hence configuring the firewall correctly is important.

You system clock seems to be in the past. Run /boot/dietpi/func/run_ntpd to update it or check the custom time sync daemon in case you use one.

Will try, server seems to be hung at the moment

Server was all hung up, so I have started over.
Thanks for trying to help me sort it out.
There’ll be more questions to come no doubt
