Hi,
question is if you are able to install any virtualisation software on Apple Silicon. Not sure if thinks like Parallels, VMware, Virtualbox or Qemu are available on Silicon. Better to check on an Apple board.
Ok cheers, will have a look around.
Continuing the discussion from Virtualisation On Apple Silicon Macs:
In same situation right now
and seems virtualbox is for apple silicon out there
@Joulinar @danmo117
but I am unable to run
the .ova file
or the .iso installed on my macbook air m2 apple silicon
Our .iso and .ova files are ones for amd64 architectures. I would assume that Virtualbox is actually not supporting amd64 VMs on Apple silicon.
(Funktioniert Virtualbox auf Apple Silicon Macs?).
But the UTM option shall do.
