Maybe it’s possible to “attach” the larger gifs to the “simple” smiley codes as well, overwriting the smaller/non-animated ones completely?

What I don’t like, is that all of them have have some white pixels at their borders, besides :sunglasses: somehow.
I mean yeah, it’s just a minor, maybe one by times has some time to find a beautiful clear foss emoji set to add/replace those.

Btw. what do you think about PM, as this can be enabled (now)? At least in rare situations it’s nice to be able to share some potentially private screens/logs, links or mail address, that you don’t want to have on public forum. For example I don’t like to link my private server here (anywhere public), but would give access for certain download to single users, to share some VM image e.g.

Yep looks like a scaling issue with phpbb3. Appears fine on the ACP and all sizes are re scaled to 18x20 px

I disabled this due to the sheer amount of private messages I received. Too many to keep up with.

However, i’ll re-enable it for now and see if I can somehow disable mine or make users aware I may not read it :slight_smile:

Ahh, I was wondering why the gifs, also on my admin page, look different than yours. strg+F5 fixed it. Jep those are beautiful.
I will resize all to 20x20 to match the same size and original aspect ratio.

A little bit an acquired taste of handling (for me as mod).
And extraordinary to have forum threads with info from posting user on to the right side, for people, which usually read and write from left to right … but anyway.

You can do it in our profile, but not for me … :smiley:

I looked around the admin/user settings, indeed seems that this can’t be changed. However, I think one will get used to it :wink:.
