How can I update the latest version of the Transmission?
I tried a lot of steps, but I wasn’t able to update to the latest version.
Any suggestions? Transmission 4.0 is already out with new features!

Hello,
we install transmission from debian repo and the latest version which debian ships is 3.00.1.2.
You could uninstall this version and build the newest by yourself from source
https://github.com/transmission/transmission

I updated to the latest version but it looks a bit buggy. I return to the stock version!

Is there an insight on when the Debian repo will have the upgrade available?
Debian is not a rolling release distro, so probably when next major Debian version is released, but they didn’t announce a date yet.
If I interpolate the last release dates, the next version should be coming around the mid of 2025.
