Upgrade Raspberry 2 to rasberry5

Hello

What i have to do if i want to have all my settings and all my programs to a new version of Raspberry?
I make this questions because on raspberry 5 it seems i need to download a different version of dietpi

Will the RPi5 your target SBC or could it be something else as well? Just asking what you are planning as the final SBC will make a difference on what to do.

I buyed the original one…

theoretically it would be possible to migrate the running system into an RPI5 compatible image and switch SD cards afterwards. For doing this, you would need to migrate to the new RPi firmware package Image | Raspberry Pi 5: Testing and firmware migration script · Issue #6676 · MichaIng/DietPi · GitHub Keep an eye on the warning :wink:

But we never tested the conversion from PRi2 into RPi5 system.
