Went and did a fresh install. Did have to drop out of the final 1st run install script and change to the new mirror. Restarted and all went well after that.

One last remark: Remember that you are now using a special mirror. This means that there is no guarantee that this mirror will remain available all the time. You may need to adjust again in the future. And all the best to you guys holding the fort in Ukraine.
