SSH Connection refused

So Joulinar I try the new Buster image today on my Odroid HC1.
Spent a bit of time setting up the sata drive and some partitions and left it for a few hours.
Now i am locked out of SSH.

ssh: connect to host 192.168.20.19 port 22: Connection refused

I can ping the Odroid

jon@Jons-MacBook-Air:~$ ping 192.168.20.19
PING 192.168.20.19 (192.168.20.19): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.20.19: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=5.409 ms

I think I will go back to the stable image. Even in isolation I don’t have this much time to waste

Hi,

did you reboot the system after SSH is not working anymore? After reboot, is it still same? Do you have direct access to the system (to check what happen) or just SSH?

I only have ssh. How do I reboot without access?
Just pull the power?

yes just unplug power. there is no other way

If you have a keyboard attached to the device, you can try to Ctrl-Alt-Del for a more graceful restart.

Thanks for the tip but I had already yanked the cord.
No ssh on reboot so I am starting over (again)
