Hi Bretquend,
Thanks for the report.
This is a known issue with v103. It has been fixed for v104:
DietPi-Software | Resolved an issue with Squeezebox not installing. This is due to squeezebox 7.9 nightly build url links being dropped. Squeezebox will now be downloaded from DietPi.com. Thanks to Jean for spotting this.
v104 should be out after xmas.
If you cant wait, you can manually patch the script to resolve it:
nano /DietPi/dietpi/dietpi-software
replace (use ctrl+w to find text)
INSTALL_URL_ADDRESS='http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.9/sc/d6a88e9/logitechmediaserver_7.9.0~1449148943_all.deb'
with
INSTALL_URL_ADDRESS='http://dietpi.com/downloads/binaries/all/logitechmediaserver_7.9.0-1449829896_all.deb'
Save and rerun dietpi-software.
Thank you for the response, I’ll give a test tomorrow
where is the link for the 'known error" so I won’t post without knowing next time ?
In a sense its “known to me”, my bad
There isn’t a “Known Issues” section (yet). Its not ideal, but you can track the status of the next release (V104) open and closed issues (including bugs): Milestones - Fourdee/DietPi · GitHub
Fourdee,
LMS 7.9 nightlies are still available:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=7.9
There is even a special ARM-only version, which is 3 times smaller then the standard multi-architecture version.
Hi Loom,
We currently use the 7.9 installation in DietPi-Software. As for the ARM version, as it does not define armhf or arm version, this would need testing on ARMv6 ARMv7 with RPi 1 and 2, beforehand.
It’w working well on a Pi 2, I will check out on a Pi 1 when I find some time.
As far as I know you were against using 7.9 nightlies, but you seem to have changed your mind?
Excellent.I will also aim to try it on my RPi 1 when I can.

Yep, in the end I seen the light
I mirrored a nightly to Index of /downloads/binaries/all a while back for another project, ran some tests over few days to check stability, this is now used in the DietPi-Software installation.
