Sound USB Stick / Alsa...

Hi all,

I own a RPi B+, I wanted to attach use the usb sound card as default but I didn’t manage at all. I googled for about 2 days… but no help.
The max I could made is to use aplay or speaker-test using -c 2 with D hw1 (or plughw1). But no more :frowning:.

Please help!

I attached all my outputs from the commands I made till now:
modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf" is :

options snd_bcm2835 index=0
options snd_usb_audio index=1
options snd=snd_usb_audio,snd_bcm2835

If I put 0 to usb the usb don’t appear at all.

aplay -l:

I ran the script from alsa-project.org, the link is: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=c58b2369558ac131fe87ed2aab0cf27f4ed43fb3

And to be true after hundreds of changes, the system is not working at all right now

Help .

On a fresh DietPi install without manual changes. You can setup a USB DAC by simply:
dietpi-config > Audio Options > Sound Card > USB DAC

DietPi will then setup /etc/asound.conf as needed, default card on system.

Thanks, but the problem is that it disable the bcm8035 from the board. I wanted both of them.

I turn all this system upside down, and unfortunately the problem was the typo in alsa-base.conf. And I lost 2 days :frowning:.

Thank you,
