RPi 3 model B v1.2
Linux mname 4.19.42-v7+ #1219 SMP Tue May 14 21:20:58 BST 2019 armv7l GNU/Linux
created an image from dietpi and verified checksums. i’m trying to update via dietpi-update and ‘apt-get update’ and both ways return same hash mismatch.
what can i try to fix this, hopefully without having to reimage/reinstall. tia

i was able to update via dietpi-update today from one rpi with 6.21.1->6.25.3 and another rpi 6.23.0->6.25.3.
all is well in dietpiville today, thanks.

Things might have been okay, but they are broken again. I just flashed a microSD card with an image that I just downloaded, and the RPi keeps trying and failing to update with this error:

My guess is that global caches are still in an inconsistent state since this update went out ~1 hours ago. Ugh. I was hoping to get this things updated quickly. Time for a snack. Happy 4th.
…and, we’re back. I wonder if making the hash for each release a unique filename might help with this cache inconsistency problem. It might be better to get 404’s than to pull down a hash file that is stale. Anyway, it seems the fix for this is to go have a sandwich and some coffee.

Sorry for not replying. Yeah I am pretty sure there were some repo inconsistencies that time due to the transition from Raspbian Stretch to Raspbian Buster. I faced multiple APT repo errors that days on both, RPi (Raspbian) and Debian systems… So yeah some Koffee or trying the other way worked .
