Hi I was wondering if anyone esle has had a similar issue to me. I just got a new mac with macOS27 on it and I cannot get dietpis smb share of the userdata to mount. It works fine on my macbook which is on macOS 26. I can mount my Qnap nas as well just fine. I can login and it shows be dietpi as the disc then click on it and it crashes and said it could not be found. Its more than likely some quirk of the new macOS but wanted to see if others have had similar. Maybe its time to update to Trixie.
Looks like you are not alone:

Some users claim this as a workaround:
Go → Connect to Server… (or press
⌘K)
Then use network address
smb://<IP>/dietpi
tried that all ready.
Maybe switching to NFS is an alternative for you?!
It ok ill work it out somehow.
Does your dietpi sever show up under the network? I had to re-enable the share for some reason on my dietpi server and change a couple lines in the config file.
sudo nano /etc/samba/smb.conf
I forget what the lines were originally but at the bottom of the config I changed mine to the following and everything is working again. But this is still macOS 26, I have a feeling something changes an update ago or so.
