Sharing external hard drive to Mac on network

Hi all,

Trying to share the external drive connected to my Pi4 to my Mac. In Drive Manager I’m seeing an option to mount a networked drive, but how can I share this non-network external drive so it’s accessible by my Mac? Is there any easy way to do this in the DietPi Config? Thanks!

Hi,

There is no config setting but you could use samba that can be activated as file server in dietpi-software

Hi thanks for the help. I set up the file server and changed the path in the samba config to my hard drive and it’s working. Thanks!
