Shairport-Sync not Airplay2

Hi I have installed shairport-sync via dietpi software . I chose the Airplay2 option on installation it all installed and I can connect but it appears to be only Airplay and not Airplay2 so I can’t group it with other Airplay2 devices. Any ideas of why as it seems to be only advertising itself as Airplay. Is this a known bug, am I best reaching out to the developer? I am using my iPhone and I run shairport-sync on other platforms and it works so not sure what’s up here.

Hi, looks like there is a bug in dietpi-software.

You could try to manually install shairport with airplay2 support.

sudo apt update
sudo apt remove shairport-sync -y
sudo apt install shairport-sync-airplay2 -y

can you be more specific what bug you mean? Probably something that could be fixed.
