I have setup SAMBA server and want to share via SAMBA attached USB drive with Windows.
It keeps asking for credentials when I map the drive from Windows. I am sure I am using correct credentials but I cannot access the drive.
If you are really sure they’re the right credentials, then you maybe use a different locale / keyboard layout as when you set it?
You can also change the password for testing with smbpasswd -a dietpi
I have tried that already but still no luck
Can you share the Samba config you created for the USB drive?
