[RK3308 base]Kernel modules missing after dietpi-installer

  • DietPi version | v10.2.3
  • Distro version | trixie
  • Kernel version | 5.10.110
  • Architecture | arm64
  • SBC model | Generic Device (aarch64)
  • Power supply used | 5V 1A RAVpower
  • SD card used | SanDisk ultra

Additional Information (if applicable)

  • Can this issue be replicated on a fresh installation of DietPi?

Steps to reproduce

  1. My SBC: ArmSom-P2pro(RK3308BS, HW is quite close to ROCKpiS)
  • By flash it with offical ROCKpiS.img, => Doesn’t work at all.
  1. The only way for me is that using dietpi-installer script, But it has to be at lest Debian 12.
  2. Then I did below upgrade:
    Debian 11 → Debian 12(Bookworm) → Debian 13(Trixie) and Debian 13 → DietPi
  3. Firt run at the begining, reboot.
  4. run DietPi-Software, it appear that ‘Kernel modules for the loaded kernel at /lib/modules/5.10.110 are missing’. The console request reboot again and again. I could never being success to the package list from run DietPi-Software.

Expected behaviour

After run dietpi-installer, I should be able to select and install software.

Actual behaviour

Kernel modules for the loaded kernel at /lib/modules/5.10.110 are missing. And asking reboot. But it doesn’t change anything.

Extra details

SBC: ArmSom-P2pro(RK3308BS, HW is quite close to ROCKpiS)
Base: Debian 11(Bullseye)
Kernel: 5.10.110

  • If I flash it with offical ROCKpiS.img, => Doesn’t work at all.
  • If do dietpi-installer script, But it has to be at lest Debian 12, then I did below upgrade:
    Debian 11 → Debian 12(Bookworm) → Debian 13(Trixie) and try both,
    Debian 12 → DietPi => It shows success, But doesn’t work after reboot.
    Debian 13 → DietPi => Looks works.. but another problem occurred.
    All seems fine at the firt run at the begining, I can run DietPi-Software and do install, until after some time or maybe A reboot. When run DietPi-Software again, it appear that ‘Kernel modules for the loaded kernel at /lib/modules/5.10.110 are missing’. The console request reboot again and again. I could never being success to run DietPi-Software anymore.
