A problem I found with Diet Pi in the efort to slim down it seems
like printer support has been removed.
I Installed Diet Pi with X-Windows and LXDE but when I tryed
to find how to setup the system to print to my HP OfficeJet
J4580 printer through a powered USB hub attached to the Pi1
I could find no tools except in KDE which I unsuccessfully tried
to Install.
So I am starting from scratch again - Will I have to install a
BLOATED KDE Desktop and kill my Pi1’s performance or is there
another way to set up USB printing to a HP Office Jet J4580
All-in-One ?
I am recently facing some errors like epson printer error code 0xf3 on my new Epson printer and I have tried a lot to solve the error by searching on the Internet for its fix, but it failed. Can anyone suggest me a better solution to fix these type of errors?
Today, after replacing cartridges, I had the same issue. I attempted to make no use of everything mentioned. I’d go out and purchase a fresh printer, but then I got an idea. For about 10 seconds, I kept the red “stop” button and then canceled the work waiting in the cue. I then pushed simultaneously the yellow “reset” button and the control buttons. It worked perfectly when I switched the printer back on it… also you can try to contact epson printer service
There are multiple reasons that are responsible for getting this issue in your printer. Some of them are mentioned briefly in this section. Have a look at the possible factors that may cause the glitch.
If you are using bad or weak connectivity then it is possible to get the problem as well.
In case if papers get stuck in the paper feed then Epson printer error code 0xf3 appears on the screen.
Paper jamming is the major reason for which you may confront this issue.
If the ink cartridge is not filled with proper ink or contains insufficient ink in it then the printer does not allow to print as usual and cause the issue.
When you are trying to print a lot of documents, the printer fails to scan them. As a result, it can not proceed with the printing process and also leads to the error 0xf3.
If the Epson printer does not have sufficient pages then you might face this particular issue as well.
Could there be a jam inside the printer?
CUPS is the standard of printing for linux distros…need to have that installed I would believe
