Having eventually got PiHole working, I’m now trying to install PiVPN. The install fails with a simple ‘install failed’ message.
Can anyone tell me where I might find any install log that may have been generated?
I tried the install from the command line as well and that also failed (with no message).
check the logs in /var/log to see if there is a reason for the failure?
Hi, yes and I could not find anything. It seems this is a common gripe for PiVPN not just with DietPi. I found one line that was installing some packages. When I ran it outside the installer and then ran the installer it worked fine. Not really sure why!
Seems it is not a DietPi specific problem.
