Pihole refuses to update on Trixie

Hi all,

after upgrading from bookworm to trixie, pihole refuses to update.

pihole -up
[✗] Unsupported OS detected: Debian 13

The running pihole-instance reports: Core v6.0.6, FTL v6.1, Web interface v6.1

Is there anybody, who already worked this out?

PIHOLE_SKIP_OS_CHECK=true pihole -up

Thank you, ignoring the problem led to a successful update :grinning_face:

My guess is that you are running a pretty old installation of pihole. The OS check was removed with version 6 and when version < 6 was current, Debian trixie was not released yet, so it was “unsupported”.
