It’s been some time since I last used my RPi Zero W, just installed DietPI to try something out, and I noticed during continuous load the green LED is flashing full on/off exactly every 0,5 seconds (for example installing a bunch of packages via apt). During the off period normal disk access flashes still happen like normal but on is solid on for 0,5 seconds. I’m sure it’s not accidentally writing and not writing every 0,5 seconds as this seems too consistent. It seems to function fine though, but I do not remember it doing this and I cannot find anything about this specifically elsewhere.
Does DietPi have some kind of extra feature that blinks the LED during certain operations?
I already tried other power supplies and cables, even the official RPi 3 power supply, as this reminds me of the flashing red LED on other Pi’s indicating a low input voltage. There is nothing connected to the USB or GPIO.
Anyone that might know why it does this? Thanks in advance!
