There was a Pi-Hole update a week or two back which I think has changed the API interaction, as it broke the linkage to Home Assistant (now fixed in HA by the latest core update).

But I also note that you can no longer access the API token through the dashboard.
If you go settings > API / Web Interface > Show API token button it pops up the window but gives a connection refused error in it.

Not sure if this is a Pi-Hole side or DietPi side issue, but just wanted to flag it anyway.
It seems to still be working fine, although I have another app on my iPhone for monitoring PiHole and that can no longer connect to it (same issue as HA had).

Edited to add - this report (not by me) gives details of what broke between Pi-Hole and HA, for reference.

Probably more an PiHole or HA issue. We just install the app but we are not maintaining the content or functionality.

OK fair enough - wasn’t sure how much you adjusted them as part of the install set-up.

It’s a Pi-Hole issue then - it’s already fixed on the HA side (I just included that as something that broke recently at around the same timing).
