Orangepi PC vs OrangePI PC2

Hello , which one do you suggest to buy? Or maybe give me some idea what development board , with better performance about 20$ i can buy.

Board will be used as WEBSERVER (lighttpd) with about 5 websites. No TV connection , no GUI , nothing like that…

One more question , in DEITPI website in download section is possible to download image for “OrangePi PC” so question is:
Is image “OrangePi PC” compactible with “OrangePi PC2” ? Can i use this one if i will buy this board?

Hi,

Most likley not, due to difference in H3/H5 CPU.

I’ve requested sample of this board from Steven at OPi, once it arrives, we’ll create an image for OPi PC2 and provide support. Still waiting for confirmation at the moment from Steven.

Did you get PC2 already? the image from official website is awful.

Unfortunately not yet, we received these boards for DietPi implementation from OPi: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/milestone/51

So many OPi boards, impossible to keep track of their “minor” differences lol
