I set up an odroid XU4 with dietpi. When I install emby, it runs stable for a few minutes, but then after a reboot it doesn’t work anymore, or emby just doesn’t start. I also have these problems with Plex. But also if I install dietpi alone and do not add it I have problems. I get the following message when booting dietpi:

many thanks for your report. I guess there is a misunderstanding or mix-up of thinks. The MOTD did not indicate that there are issues on your device. It’s more the message of the day and an information about useful thinks / commands on your system. It’s just a simple banner entry that will change time by time.
Saying this, there is no relation to your issues with Plex and Emby. Would be good if you can install both and we could have a look, why services are not starting after a reboot.
Thank you very much for this information, I got a little confused. I have now installed emby and it ran for several hours without any problems. Then I wanted to start something to watch, but no stream was found. So I rebooted. Emby was then only a few minutes started and was then no longer active as service. After another restart emby is running, but it cannot be played. With “htop” embyserver is active.
I have a Raspberry also with emby, there the playback works, so it is not the file.
The settings are so far identical, or I have not changed much.
Where could I find helpful logs?

Addendum: Only when I call emby from the browser it seems to crash, but not every time.

it’s probably emby and has nothing to do with dietpi. But i’m not really getting anywhere with emby either. The logs say that there was an error, but I don’t understand how I can fix it. I once attached the log file. Maybe someone can help me.

Yes, I have also made the request in the emby forum. Maybe the question can help somebody here too. Unfortunately there is no solution for the problem yet.
well ,I don’t see that much change for us to further assist, if even guys on emby forum are not able to fix it. I mean I’m not an emby specialist. But maybe there will be still someone around to continue investigation
