NordVPN Up and Down scripts

Hi,

After fiddling with iptables and running into issues down the line, my last attempt at setting up a kill switch with openvpn proved too complicated and caused issues down the line when it went wrong. I switched from IPVanish config files to NordVPN to take advantage of the Dietpi service.

I feel that I can use the NordVPN script options to set up a killswitch without touching iptables but I’m not sure where to start. Is anyone able to tell me how?

Without touching iptables you’d have to touch routing.
Remove the ISP router as default gateway and keep only a static route to allow traffic towards the VPN endpoint via the ISP gateway.
