Hello forum,

I hope someone can point me into the right direction. I get no sound in LXDE and Moonlight.
My external USB Dac is SMSL AD18, connected with USB, it is recognized by DietPI and I have sound in KODI.
KODI was installed via Flatpak, Moonlight also, LXDE via DietPI software.

Moonlight has no real audio options to select an Audio output.
I have choosen the Audio Output like you can see here in the screenshots:

What I also recognized is, that the order of the Audio devices changes, sometimes it’s 1,0 than on the next day it’s 2,0 (without reboot of the system). But I think, that’s because I have removed the HDMI source I guess.

I have tried with Auto Conversion on and off, without any difference. And I’ve tried the option in Moonlight “Mute speakers on host” on / off.

I have to correct myself I have sound in LXDE, it was my fault, like I’ve mentioned before, the number of the audio device had changed, but was still set on the device number from before.

Still no sound in Moonlight. Also started Moonlight in LXDE from the terminal, no change. I think my problem is Moonlight related and not to DietPI, this thread can be closed or deleted.
Nevertheless if someone has Moonlight from Flatpak under DietPi running and knows how to fix this, please write me. Thanks
