No disk patterns provided, nothing to display

Hi,

the latest update to dietpi 10.6 worked well, at least it looked like it. However on both of my machines ( RP4 and RP5 ) I see now a message in yellow “No disk patterns provided, nothing to display” Everything seems to work normally

I guess it’s best to wait a bit and see if it will go away.

Tks

Henning

10.6 is a Beta version and this is a new feature within the banner, you could configure it or respond on GitHub about this potential issue

Tks, found it and now it looks better

Oh right, the disk usage option is enabled by default now, but there is no default mount point, in which case this warning is shown.

Fixed with: dietpi-banner: enable rootfs disk usage by default · MichaIng/DietPi@9672668 · GitHub
This also correctly preserves previously disabled rootfs disk usage options. So the whole block should not show up anymore for anyone who updates after above commit, and did no have the rootfs oder userdata disk usage entries enabled before the update. However, for anyone who updated already, as well as new systems, the rootfs / mount point usage will be shown.
