I just installed Kodi from Dietpi software. I am on an Rpi4 w 4gb RAM, and apparently it should support 4k 60fps. I am 100% sure my cable, my receiver and my screen supports HDMI 2.0 which means it supports 4k 60fps. But I see no option for this in Kodi. I can have 1080p 60fps, or 4k 30fps but not 4k 60fps. Is there something else to tweak or enable to get this to work ?
I don’t understand why it doesn’t give me 2160p with 60Hz, because my hardware perfectly supports it. My Xbox using the same TV and AV receiver can perfectly do 2160p 60Hz. What could be the cause of this ? Thanks in advance for any answer
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
I tried that already. I am on HDMI0 and I’ve added this setting in config.txt, and rebooted. I still don’t have 4k60 option in Kodi. I don’t understand why.
