Hi, this is quite a big update for Jellyfin, I was wondering what the lead time is usually like for it to show in the dietpi software centre?
there is nothing to do on DietPi as Jellyfin is installed from own Jellyfin apt repository. As far as I can see, new version is already available
root@DietPi4:~# apt show jellyfin Package: jellyfin Version: 10.7.0-1 Priority: optional Section: misc Maintainer: Jellyfin Packaging Team <email@example.com> Installed-Size: 9.216 B Depends: jellyfin-server, jellyfin-web, jellyfin-ffmpeg (>= 4.2.1-2) Homepage: https://jellyfin.org Download-Size: 2.260 B APT-Manual-Installed: yes APT-Sources: https://repo.jellyfin.org/debian buster/main armhf Packages Description: Provides the Jellyfin Free Software Media System Provides the full Jellyfin experience, including both the server and web interface. root@DietPi4:~#
Means you should be able to update by running apt update && apt upgrade
Brilliant, that’s what I was hoping, thank you.
