Hi at all,
I get this error here (see attachment) since last week and do not know how to fix it. Restart helps until it occurs again.
best wishes!

The last line the is one in question. Rest is part of your apt upgrade
and could be ignored.
Can you share the last line as text? Means, cope it from terminal or SSH session? Usually, it’s not needed to do screen prints
already restarted, so error is gone for now. but it said:
virtio_net virtio0: input.0:id 144 is not a head!
hmm just searched the web but found some older kernel bugs only. Seems to be related to guest os kernel, which should be plain Debian kernel on VM. I guess they should not be relevant anymore.
is there something VirtualBox can do to fix this?
https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/11455
The ticket is 10 years old, so I don’t think this will be fixed
so it is a VBox bug indeed?
Not sure if this is a real VBox bug. Information I found was more going into direction of guest os kernel.
so windows is the culprit?
Do you have VBox addons in the guest OS?
no, not intentionally. just standard installation.
As we just digging around, it might be a good idea to ask on VBox forum what this error message means and if there is a way to avoid it.
