nanoPI NEO2 - does not show up on network

Hey,

I recently b ought a nanopi NEO2 - and I simply cannot get DietPi to work on it (tearing my hair out over here).

Got a 32gb samsung class10 microSD card, flahsed the rom for the NEO2 from DietPi onto it (linuxMint / USB Image Writer), plugged the network cable into the NEO2 etc and booted up.

The board reboots twice, as per the manual, but then the green LED stays lit and nothing else happens. Yet when I run nmap or look at the list of connected devices on my router - the NEO2 does not appear (all other devices in the house appears without issues).

anyone got any tips?

So - seems I found a solution.

Removing the microSD card, and manually entering the network details based on an introduction to Linux networking.

Hopefully that will continue to work. :wink:
